The main festival of India celebrated by many people is Dasara.Mysore is famous of it.In our Andhra it is limited for outdoor celebrations like Dramas in our Rajahmundry Devi Chowk.Since 100 years roughly it is being conducted with pomp.Big idols of Devi will be erected and many ladies offer their gifts like Blouse pieces and sarees to the goddess.Mass pooja will be done and Fri day is very auspicious.During nine days Devi will be decorated in nine roopams accordingly.On final day i.e Vijaya Dasami Some invite nine Muththaidhuvulu to their home and honor them with pooja and lunch.Some invite one for each day.

In Vijayawada Durga Devi is very beautifully decorated and heavy rush on those navaratri days.All Devi temples will be full of ladies.
